Hi. I'm Leah.
I'm a UX Designer and UX Writer who is passionate about accessibility, designing for marginalized populations, and making the world a kinder place for everyone.
My wife and I have been married since 2001, and we are moms of 3 young adults, two of whom have Down syndrome. I am obsessed with Vietnamese tofu dishes, vinyl records, and sci-fi books, movies, and television.
In 2013, I earned a Master’s degree in Theology after successfully defending my thesis on communities of nonviolence, and I have an extensive background in writing and delivering public talks about controversial theological topics for both in-person and podcast audiences. Now that that part of my life is over, I am pursuing UX Writing & Design as my next chapter.
I am a serial entrepreneur with a background in small package logistics and leadership, but I have always done creative work as well.
